Who the bloody hell are Inside Job anyway? Well if you're asking yourself that question read on...

Inside Job are a relatively new band on the scence however they have been buried away deep in the South West working on material to show Devon just how much it is in need of a decent, young rock n' roll band to bring them into the 21st Century.

Inside Job have been gigging for nearly a year, however they have still managed to cram in at least 2 shows a month allowing them to quickly hone their live sound. Raw Punk Rock with of twist of Blues. So check the gigs section to make sure your don't miss thier next show...

History

Inside Job are based in Plymouth, Devon. They all attended Plymouth University and in the months and years after leaving found themselves still drinking in the same bars they frequented whilst they were students. Life seemed to be slowly sailing by until... one day... it was decided... "we needed a band."

"We'd all been in bands before but some of us not for years." So it was done. Punk Rock was our aim and Inside Job was our name.

Studio

Inside Job have thier own practise space for rehersing, which also doubles as a small live studio for all thier own recording. The studio comprises of a 32 track mixing desk, MOTU soundcard and a PC with digital sequencing software and a host of FX. "We do all the recording ourselves. Zip it up then email to Andy [Dave's brother]. He then gives it the 'treatment' and sends back an MP3 for us to upload to our website. We've been playing with various VST plugins recently so watch this space. Who knows there maybe a horn section or drum machines on our next EP!". Inside Job are about to go back into recording mode over the final part of 2009, so make sure you check back soon to download all the new Inside Job tracks FREE of charge. So far all the recordings on the site have been done by the band which they say allows more time for creativity and also a better understanding of "how it all works".
